Silver Medal for Jason ChenSilver Medal at Physics Olympics
Jason Chen, a student at Abbey College Cambridge, has won a silver medal at the prestigious 42nd International Physics Olympics, held in Thailand.
The International Physics Olympiad is a competition for secondary-school students. Young physicists from across the world test their knowledge by tackling theoretical as well as experimental problems.
This is a great honour for Jason and reflects on Abbey College Cambridge¹s commitment to the teaching of science to the very highest levels.
Jason has an offer to study at Cambridge University adding to the other six Abbey College Cambridge students offered a place at the prestigious university this year.
Everyone at Abbey College Cambridge is extremely proud of Jason and congratulates him on his outstanding achievement.
