We believe that students, of any age, achieve great things through their own intelligence, imagination and initiative.  But we also believe that our role is to create the structures in which this can happen.

Students achieve their best because our teachers care about their welfare and progress.  They help our students develop confidence and the discipline and motivation necessary to convert their efforts into results.

Personal Tutors oversee academic progress; they meet the students under their care every week.

Class Sizes

Our teachers work with students in small groups, an arrangement that provides individual attention, and the opportunity to ask questions and to discuss issues.  It also gives teachers the opportunity to motivate and challenge their students as they strive for yet higher standards of achievement.

Class size is particularly important for international students who benefit from individual attention and the opportunity to enhance their proficiency in the English language.

Teachers

Our location in one of the main academic centres in the United Kingdom, enables us to recruit some of the very best teachers.  They are all graduates in their respective fields; many of them have post-graduate degrees in their subjects.

Our teachers are selected as much for their enthusiasm as for their academic qualifications.  They all share common characteristics: they are experts in their respective fields; they have excellent communication skills and they have high expectations of their students.

Students cannot gain entry to the top UK universities through A-Level grades alone.  University admissions tutors seek students of a high academic standard who are also well-rounded young people with much to offer the university.

We ensure that students receive the guidance they need to make informed, sensible and rewarding decisions about their progression to university.  The professional approach we take to university applications is a key factor in our students' success.

Welfare and Support

We take care of students from the time they enrol through to the time they leave.  Many students maintain their association with us long after they leave.

The enrolment procedure provides all of the information international students need to prepare for their trip to the United Kingdom.  We keep in touch on a regular basis and can arrange airport pick-ups and accommodation.

Students undergo an induction and orientation course when they arrive in Cambridge.  We ensure that there is a member of staff available to help with any problems that our students might encounter.

Accommodation
Our philosophy is to ensure all our students are safe and well taken care of during their time with us while being able to develop their independence and maturity.

Our students choose to live either in our halls of residence or with home stay accommodation.  The halls of residence are a popular choice for those who wish to live with other students in a secure and supervised environment.  Students who choose to live with home stay live in the local community with local families carefully selected for each student by our accommodation officer.
