Abbey College Cambridge places great store on the emotional and physical well being of its students.  Quite often what appears to be a difficult problem can be resolved with a few private conversations and the generation of strategies and ideas for coping with the difficulties.

Here For You (H4U)

H4U is the Abbey College Cambridge Student Mentoring Scheme.  The Scheme is designed to help newly arrived international students find their feet and feel at home.

Each year a number of very special students who have been at Abbey College Cambridge for at least 2 terms and who demonstrate the necessary personal qualities are invited to join H4U as H4U Mentors.  Students can only become H4U Mentors by invitation on the basis of recommendation by members of staff or existing H4U Mentors.

H4U mentors meet, befriend and support newly arriving students for as long as it takes them to settle into life in the City of Cambridge and Abbey College Cambridge.
