Ali Talbot

After completing her degree in languages at the University of Oxford, Ali then spent 19 years teaching around the world, as both an MFL and EAL teacher. She recently returned to her hometown of Cambridge.

Her career includes a range of leadership positions in a variety of educational institutions who specialise in international education: she has been the Head of a language school for the Bell Educational Trust, an inspector for English departments at universities, the Head of Teaching and Learning at an international school in Oxford and Enrichment Leader at an international school in Malaysia.

Having lived in Europe, Asia and New Zealand, Ali understands what it means to live overseas and knows the value of a school community like Abbey.

In her spare time, she teaches teachers at other schools about EAL, likes to run and tries to cook some of the amazing Asian food that she misses so much!
