Abbey College Cambridge offers a number of generous scholarships to local students for entry at 13+ (into Year 9). Awards of up to 100% will be awarded to students who stand out on our assessment day.
The number and value of the awards made each year depend on the quality of the candidates. Scholarships are available to all applicants applying to join Year 9. All candidates wishing to be considered for a scholarship must have already submitted an application form to join the college before making an application for a scholarship.
Assessment for scholarships will be made at our scholarship assessment day. All applicants will spend the assessment day together and will be asked to complete various tasks, sit a Maths and English paper, and sit an interview with the college Principal and academic panel. Students will also be asked to answer an essay question before the scholarship day for consideration on the day. The assessment day is designed to be an enriching and enjoyable day that allows the students to get to know the college, and allow us to get to know our potential students better.

Our scholarship assessment day date will be available in the summer. Students must attend this day to be considered for an award.
