Darren Kelly

Darren graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and has enjoyed teaching Mathematics to all levels including GCSE, A-Level and Further Mathematics.  He completed a PGCE in secondary Mathematics from the University of Manchester. Darren later attained a MEd (Mathematics) at Homerton College, Cambridge. He also enjoys teaching GCSE and A-Level Physics at Abbey College as he appreciates the application of Mathematics. In particular, he has enjoyed teaching Astrophysics as he has a passion for Astronomy.

In his spare time Darren enjoys music and playing the piano. His favourite books include, ‘Cosmos’ and the ‘Pale Blue Dot’ by Carl Sagon and ‘Fermat’s Last Theorem’ by Simon Singh. Darren is a keen Manchester United supporter.
