‘I love teaching, especially those ‘aha’ moments when a student who has struggled with an idea understands it for the first time. Currently I’m enjoying using Kahoot quizzes with my classes. I like to watch the sweetest, most passive students transform into ruthless competitors! ’

Laura has a MA in Psychology from the University of St Andrews, and completed her PGCE at Keele University. Before joining Abbey Cambridge, Laura taught at state school in Lancashire where she learned how to motivate students and to make learning more enjoyable.

Outside of college Laura enjoys doing Park Runs with her daughter.
