“When I started at Abbey College Cambridge, I was uncertain as to what the next chapter of my life might look like – moving across the world
from South Africa to Cambridge seemed like such a large undertaking. Thankfully, I was massively surprised as to how easy it was to integrate into the Abbey community. Everyone was so welcoming and willing to help me through this transition and I’m so grateful that Abbey was able to become my second home.

The highlight of my time at Abbey College Cambridge was definitely the teachers. I think it’s so valuable having teachers that you can easily communicate with and that understand you. I was lucky enough to be taught by the best teachers I’ve ever had. All my teachers were so thorough and gave me so much advice both related to my A-levels and also towards my chosen career path. Rather than blending into the background and being left unnoticed, the support and guidance I received throughout the course at Abbey was individualised and I always felt seen and heard.”
