When I first joined the IFP Program in Year 13, I felt anxious about missing the early preparation stages, and moving to the UK alone felt overwhelming. However, the college provided essential guidance and resources that helped me catch up quickly and with confidence. They helped me choose the right universities and refine my personal statement to genuinely express my passion for medicine, and the numerous hours spent on mock interviews and practice sessions significantly
boosted my confidence.

Despite starting later than others, the teachers ensured I was not to be left behind, helping me find clinical shadowing opportunities and recommending online courses to strengthen my application. The IFP course also prepared me well for the academic demands of medical school. Without Abbey College’s encouragement and support, navigating the application process would have been much more challenging.
