  • Abbey College Cambridge will offer a full programme of study leading to General Certifciate of Secondary Education (GCSE) awards in academic subjects with effect from 1 September 2010.

    The Abbey College Cambridge Full Course GCSE Programme will comprise 8 academic subjects, chosen to prepare students for their A-level studies.

  • Easter Revision is an established feature of our annual programme. We offer intensive revision classes in GCSE and A-level academic subjects.

  • Most of our students are admitted to undergraduate programmes at prestigious British universities. Each year, several of our students gain major prizes and academic internships. In 2009, these included the Shire Prize, awarded by the Royal Society of Chemistry, and an internship at the University of Heidelberg, awarded by the City of Cambridge.

  • Thinking Skills Assessment - 26 February
    Cambridge Assessment will trial new questions for use in future university admissions tests at Abbey College Cambridge on Friday 26 February. The trial will provide valuable pratice in thinking skills based assessment tests; it will be particularly useful for students who seek admission to highly selective universities. The trial will take place under full examination conditions. Cambridge Assessment will mark the scripts and provide detailed feedback.

  • University of Sheffield Nigeria Undergraduate Scholarship 2009

  • Miss Yetade Ayileka (Nigeria) has been awarded the University of Sheffield Nigeria Undergraduate Scholarship 2009. This scholarship is worth 50% of the tuition fees per year.  She was presented with the scholarship by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor at a ceremony at the University of Sheffield.

    Miss Ayileka was a student at Abbey College Cambridge from 2007 to 2009.

    She was admitted to the University of Sheffield in September 2009 to read Computer Systems Engineering with Management.
