Student of the Week – Ding Yijie (Gabe)

Gabe was nominated as Abbey College Cambridge Student of the Week by his teachers Adam Fraser and Darren Hayward-Williams for successfully tackling an Economics Mathematics question in a slightly different way to the rest of the students in his class. Gabe proved that the question had two different answers, effectively invalidating it.

We are now accepting applications from local students for September 2026 entry scholarships at Abbey College Cambridge.

Abbey College Cambridge Scholarships Open

Generous scholarships are available for local students — for 13+ entry (Year 9), awards may be up to 100% of tuition fees. For  Year 12 entry there are scholarships offering up to a 20% discount.

Our scholarships recognise academic ability, critical thinking, teamwork and community contribution and are awarded based on performance at our assessment day on 29th January.
