Assistant Principal Pastoral

Alison received her BSc in Biological Sciences at Plymouth University before moving on to take her Post Graduate Certificate in Education at King’s College London. As a teacher of Biology, Alison has taught at Dame Alice Owen’s School in Potter’s Bar, quickly being promoted to Head of KS3 Science before making the move to teach in the American Education system in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Alison returned to the UK and DAOS to become Head of Biology, then moving to Mill Hill in North London to be Head of Science for six years. Alison decided to focus on the Pastoral Care for her students and became a Housemaster to a large Day House.

Alison joined Abbey College Cambridge in 2018 as part of the inaugural team of Housemasters, helping to continue and develop the excellent pastoral care students receive at Abbey.

In September 2025 Alison became a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
