“Studying at Abbey has been a great experience for me. Not only do the teachers make every lesson interesting and interactive, class notes are all available online and update in real time, making it much easier to review the material. Additionally, my teachers have encouraged me to submit some of my works in various competitions around the country and suggested that I help with a sculpture for a charity which now stands in the city centre.
I have met lots of people from around the world and experienced living abroad on my own for the first time. Cambridge is quiet and peaceful, with a wide variety of stores and restaurants all within walking distance of the school, which is great for students. Whilst staying here, I learned various life skills such as cooking and managing my own time, and became more independent as a person.
As I was preparing for university, I received lots of help from my UCAS advisor and teachers. They showed me every step of the process and offered their own advice to help me choose the universities. Overall, Abbey has been very supportive during my studies and I will remember my time here fondly once I graduate.”
