A-Levels

Advanced Level courses, commonly known as ‘A-Levels’ are Year 12 & 13 courses that are typically taken by students between the ages of 16 – 19 years. A-Levels are the mostly widely recognised qualification for entry to UK universities.

The Abbey College Cambridge A-Level Programme is taught over two year (September start) and eighteen month (January start) durations.  A-Level students take four subjects in their first year/first two terms and four or three subjects in their second year. Students with an English level of below IELTS 7.5 (or equivalent) will also study Academic English during their first year of study.

Abbey College Cambridge’s A-Level results place us amongst the UK’s best independent schools.
