“When I moved to Cambridge, it didn’t feel like I had migrated because the atmosphere was so friendly and homely that I didn’t even feel homesick. The school supported me in every possible way – educationally, mentally and even physically. Abbey is filled with memories of teachers and boarding staff who supported my studies, encouraged me to ask questions, and took care of me when I felt upset or unwell.

The clubs we had every Wednesday afternoon were transformative. I joined MUN, Young Enterprise, Student-Led Conference, Kickboxing, and more. Abbey helped me become a more successful, skilled and confident leader.

Another remarkable aspect of Abbey is the friendships I formed. My friends and I created crazy memories there, from hosting impromptu concerts to playing cards at 1am. The friends you make here become your family.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to flourish both socially and educationally by studying at Abbey. There’s no way my A Levels could have gone better.”
