A Creative Day by the Sea
Our A Level Art students enjoyed a fantastic day in Southwold, gathering photographs, sketches en plein air, and visual inspiration for their coursework. A little rain in the morning certainly didn’t deter us, and by the afternoon we were rewarded with brilliant sunshine.
No trip to the seaside would be complete without fish and chips by the sea, followed by ice cream! It was a thoroughly enjoyable and productive day, with students returning with plenty of exciting primary-source material to develop back in the Art Studio.

Our wonderful Abbey College Cambridge community reaches across every area of our school, and today we celebrate our dedicated on site catering team, Harrison's Catering Services, led by Bruce and Sam.
Alongside a diverse and seasonal menu catering to our 40+ nationalities, monthly themed days provide our boarders with an extra special level of variety, and it is this approach that is a real strength of the team. So much so that our wonderful catering team have been recognised as 'team of the year'.
A truly well deserved accolade, and reflective of the care and commitment that our catering team put into the meals that are created every day.
