Our Diplomacy Conference brought together brilliant young minds from Cambridge and overseas to explore global issues, negotiation, and leadership. 🌍
With students from Gymnázium Andreja Sladkoviča Slovakia, AMES education Lithuania, St Mary’s, CAST, and Landmark International, the day was filled with diverse perspectives and powerful conversations.
From crisis simulations to media labs and nation‑building workshops, students stepped into the roles of diplomats, negotiators, and problem‑solvers. A special highlight was hearing from experienced speakers - including former British Ambassador Sir Laurie Bristow, whose insights into diplomacy and global conflict captivated our audience.
The day was flawlessly opened by student MC, Qish, who reminded everyone that “the world does not change because people avoid difficult conversations. It changes because people choose to have them.”
