Vice Principal, Academic

Andrew joined Abbey College Cambridge in September 2015. He has a BA (Hons) in Business Management and has studied in both Sheffield and Cambridge.

Andrew gained a first class post graduate qualification in teaching from the University of Hertfordshire and has taught from GCSE to A Level, and held numerous positions of responsibility including Housemaster, Head of Extended Projects, Head of Foundation Learning, and Enterprise Coordinator.

Prior to teaching, Andrew worked for Barclays Bank PLC as a B2B Sales Manager, and for Marstons PLC as a General Manager in London. This experience combines to give Andrew practical understanding of both running a business together with an intricate understanding of corporate finance.

Andrew was appointed as our Vice Principal Academic in March 2021.

We are now accepting applications from local students for September 2026 entry scholarships at Abbey College Cambridge.

Abbey College Cambridge Scholarships Open

Generous scholarships are available for local students — for 13+ entry (Year 9), awards may be up to 100% of tuition fees. For  Year 12 entry there are scholarships offering up to a 20% discount.

Our scholarships recognise academic ability, critical thinking, teamwork and community contribution and are awarded based on performance at our assessment day on 29th January.
