Triumph for Physics Students

We are thrilled that all 14 of our entrants into the Senior Physics Challenge for Year 12 students and below received an award in the recent BhPO (British Physics) Senior Physics Challenge. This challenge is an exciting opportunity for students to stretch their problem solving skills and apply fundamental physical principles to novel situations. This Challenge is a single paper that provides an excellent tool to assess and challenge students’ ability to work at a high level.
This year a total 5,300 students from 380 schools and colleges participated in the challenge which was taken online at the beginning of March.
For all 14 students to receive an award is an outstanding achievement and means that Abbey College Cambridge entrants were in the top 44% of all entrants nationally with those attaining Gold are in the top 15%.
All 14 students receive our congratulations, with a special mention to Jaeha, Ethan, Lucian and Juan Francisco for achieving Gold awards.
