Abbey College Cambridge Celebrates 2024 GCSE Results

Abbey College Cambridge’s younger students are celebrating a fantastic set of GCSE results in 2024.
This year 91% of GCSEs taken by Abbey College Cambridge students achieved a ‘good pass’ grade of 4 or above.
Nearly two thirds of GCSEs taken (64%) achieved ‘top grades’ of between 9 and 7 (A**-A). Whilst almost a quarter of examinations taken (23%) achieve the absolute top grade of 9 (A**).
The overall GCSE pass rate in 2024 was 99%.

Top performing GCSE subjects this year include Biology, with 31% of GCSE marked at grade 9 and nearly 70% achieving grades 9-8, and Further Mathematics with 30% grade 9 and 70% grades 9-8. Chemistry students also achieved 27% grade 9 and nearly 60% 9-6.
