Abbey College Cambridge Celebrates Outstanding A Level Results

Today we are celebrating the achievements of our high-performing students, following the announcement of this year’s exceptional A-level results, with a third of students achieving A*/A grades in all of their exams.
The school’s academic performance continues to strengthen year on year. With nearly two thirds of all grades being A*/A and an impressive 91% of grades A*-B, we have continued to deliver exceptional results.
The school has seen particularly strong A Level results in the STEM subjects, with 69% of Maths students awarded A*–A and an impressive 91% awarded A*-B. Students also performed well in Further Maths, with 94% awarded A*-B. Meanwhile, over half of all physics students achieved A* or A and two thirds of Chemistry students achieved A*–A.
Outstanding results were also achieved across a broad range of other subjects. Art & Design, Accounting, Business Studies, Photography, Psychology and Geography all achieved 100% A*–B, demonstrating strong and consistent achievements in all subjects taught at Abbey College Cambridge. These results highlight the breadth of academic success at the school, with students achieving highly across STEM, creative, humanities and business-related subjects.
The school has once again celebrated remarkable success in securing offers for highly competitive medicine and dentistry degree courses, with a 100% success rate with 20 offers secured.
As a result of these excellent grades, Abbey College Cambridge students have once again secured their places at the World’s leading universities. Special congratulations go to Lili on achieving 3 A*s and 1 A. She will now progress to the University of Cambridge in September to study Natural Sciences. Other students will progress to top universities, including London School of Economics, Imperial College London, University of Durham, to name a few.
