Abbey College Cambridge A-Level results news 2017

Abbey College Cambridge students are once again celebrating a superb set of A-Level results.

From a total of 316 A Levels sat by Abbey College Cambridge in 2017 students:

  • 34% were marked at grade A*,
  • 70% were marked at A*-A grades
  • 88% were marked at A*-B grades

  • The college’s overall (A*-E) pass rate was 100%

2017 marks the twelfth straight year that Abbey College Cambridge students have achieved an A*-A pass rate of 60% or above, and the eleventh straight year with an A*-B pass rate above 80%. Our A Level results continue on from the high levels achieved in 2017 by our International Foundation programme students.

College Principal Dr Julian Davies was justifiably proud of his students’ achievements, stating;

‘’Every year we set ambitious targets for our students and once again they have delivered. These results pay testament not only to their hard work and application, but also to the dedication of an outstanding team of teaching and support staff who help make it all possible. Our students will now be heading on to study at the UK’s best universities, and they leave with our hopes and best wishes behind them.’’
