Aiya Tungusheva
Aiya, who is from Kazakhstan and studying on our one year GCSE programme, was nominated for her hard work in Chemistry classes. She always participates in class, is having chemistry mentoring, works well, and this week did extremely well in 2 tests.
Melissa Nwako
Melissa, who is from the United Kingdom was nominated for the hard work she put into revision for her topic test on the biological approach in psychology. Her hard work really showed in her logical and detailed answers. Melissa is always a hard worker and a joy to teach.
Nijad Muradov
Nijad, from Azerbaijan, was nominated for his exceptional work in Mathematics. He always responds well to questions and contributes some really good answers for the whole class to hear.
Pan Yichen (Chiara)
Chiara, who is from China was nominated for helping a new student settle into college life. Despite having stage tests, Chiara made the new student feel welcome and accompanied them to their exams without being asked to. Chiara showed kindness, maturity and ‘Abbey College Cambridge community spirit’ in helping a new member of the school from a different country and culture to her.
