23rd June 26

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding success of one of our Sixth Form students at this year’s prestigious Cambridge Art Exhibition, held at St Michael’s Church and Michaelhouse Café and Gallery from 7th – 20th June.
Sponsored by the Three Art Societies of Cambridge, the exhibition featured work from over 55 students across local sixth forms. Among those selected were five talented Abbey College Cambridge students: Parsa, Michael, Tyler, Bea, and Maria. With entry highly competitive, being chosen to exhibit is a significant achievement in itself and reflects the exceptional standard of work produced by our students.
A private view evening took place on Saturday 13th June, bringing together students, teachers, and members of the local arts community to celebrate the exhibition. During the event, awards were presented across three categories: Best in Show, Most Original, and Highly Commended.
We are especially proud to announce that Tyler was awarded “Highly Commended”, placing him among the top three artists recognised this year. This honour is a testament to Tyler’s creativity, dedication, and technical skill, and highlights the high calibre of artistic talent within our Sixth Form.
The success of all five students not only showcases their individual artistic achievements but also reflects the strength and vibrancy of the Art cohort at Abbey College Cambridge. We warmly congratulate each of our students whose work was exhibited and commend them for representing the school so impressively in such a competitive and inspiring event.
