Abbey College Cambridge Students Celebrate Halloween in Spooktacular Fashion!

28th October 16

Abbey College Cambridge students had a rather spooky end to their first few weeks at school, with the final Friday before half term seeing the school transformed into the ultimate Halloween party venue. There were glowing pumpkins around every corner, cobwebs on every wall, decorations dangling from the ceiling and spiders scuttling across the floor.

Both students and staff were quick to take to the hall-turned-dancefloor, showing off not only their best moves but also their great fancy dress costumes, ranging from geishas to cats and zombies to Harry Potter. There was a face painter outside the hall helping more students to achieve their eerie looks and a location created especially for taking photos once the masterpieces had been completed.

The dining room was packed full of students enjoying the delicious, Halloween-themed food, with plenty returning for second helpings of worm-shaped pastries, blood-coloured juice and more. Fuelled by enthusiasm and fantastic food, the night culminated in multiple ‘dance offs’ with both staff and students enjoying the music and photo opportunities!
