Abbey Cambridge’s Fantastic Six Celebrate Oxbridge offers

Six Abbey College Cambridge students are celebrating after receiving offers to study at Oxbridge colleges in 2019.
- Minh from Vietnam has an offer to read economics at Cambridge University
- Emily from China has an offer to read natural sciences at Cambridge University
- Edward from Hong Kong has an offer to read biology at Oxford University
- Jacky from Taiwan has an offer to read medicine at Cambridge University
- Juan from Spain has an offer to read natural sciences at Cambridge University

Speaking of the student’s success, college Principal Dr Julian Davies was justifiably proud: ‘As one of the UK’s top performing international colleges, we always expect our students to do well, but every year it is particularly satisfying when our students receive offers to study at prestigious universities like Oxford and Cambridge. This pays testament to their hard work, but also to the dedication and of what is a truly outstanding support team made up of teachers and pastoral staff who will now be working together with them all to ensure they meet the requirements of their offers.’
