Oxbridge Calling For Abbey College Cambridge Students

 
Nine of our upper sixth students are celebrating after receiving offers to study at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge this September.
 
This represents an amazing 36% Oxbridge application to offer success rate for Abbey College Cambridge students in 2017, almost twice the UK national average and as much as four times the rate achieved for some of the most competitive Oxbridge courses such as Natural Sciences, Engineering and Mathematics.
 
The results also mean that an astounding 10% of our cohort of upper sixth A-Level students have received an Oxbridge offer this year.
 
This year’s Oxbridge offers are:

• Zhou Huaji (Frank) from China has an offer to study Engineering at Oxford
• Wang Chongkai (Tony) from China has an offer to study Mechanical Engineering at Oxford
• Ha Vietson (Sean) from Vietnam has an offer to study Mathematics and Statistics at Oxford
• Yang Qiaonan (Tina) from China has an offer to study Economics at Cambridge
• Wang Yuxuan (Iris) from China has an offer to study Chemical Engineering at Cambridge
• Xie Junyu (Arthur) from China has an offer to study Natural Sciences at Cambridge
• Eun Gi Hong from South Korea has aoffer to study Land Economy at Cambridge
• Minsuk Lee from South Korea has an offer to study Economics at Cambridge
• Wu Liuqing (Eliza) from China has an offer to study Natural Sciences at Cambridge
